Many of the problems faced today in the field of architectural representation concern massive theoretical issues.
The references to the great themes of mimesis and ermeneusi recur every time the question of the image in its content as imitate or interpretation of reality is faced, raising questions that more and more need to be clarified.
The book "Themes and codes of architectural drawing" is the result of research conducted in this regard in five Italian universities, Milan, Perugia, Rome, Potenza, Bari and provides an useful overview of insights in a vast arc of interests, from criticism to story, from urbanism to restoration, that constantly links theory to application.
