Carlo Settimio Battisti is an art director, curator and visual researcher. He is currently the artistic director of TWM Factory. His work focuses on urban regeneration, emerging cultural centers, and minority-led artistic practices. He has curated exhibitions, festivals and programs in collaboration with both independent and institutional entities such as BASE Milano, Palazzo Merulana, GNAM, Villa Gordiani Archaeological Park, Palazzo Massimo – MNR, MAXXI, among others. He teaches at the Master in Cultural Heritage Communication at Sapienza University. He is the scientific coordinator of “Scenario Futuro Urbano”, a Third Mission project. He has worked as an author, curator, editorial director and visual designer for publications by TWM Edizioni and Edizioni Tlon. He created the editorial series “Quisquilie”. He curates the artistic program of Roma Smistamento and projects like Ultraqueer, Queer Pandemia, Meteore, Giovani Creativi and Riscatti di Città.
