The journal XY is a biannual digital publication that collects texts and images of high scientific value, written in English and in the author’s native language. The publication of an essay is subject to evaluation by two anonymous external reviewers selected for their specific expertise (Double-Blind Peer Review).

To submit a proposal you must follow the on line procedure at the corresponding OJS platform, after registering to the site, and fill in the XY_Abstract.doc template with the following data.

– Title of the essay and any subtitle (max 100 characters including spaces)

– First name(s) and surname(s)

– Abstract of the essay (max 2,000 characters including spaces)

– One significant image with caption (.jpg format, 300 dpi on a 15 cm base)

The XY scientific committee evaluates proposals based on thematic relevance and clarity of expression. The editorial staff will then communicate the decision via email and, if the proposal is accepted, authors will be asked to submit the final materials within the established deadlines.

The full text in the native language (15,000–30,000 characters including spaces and notes), complete with abstract and three keywords (preferably different from those in the title), bibliography, and 8–15 images with captions and corresponding credits (one every 2,000 characters), must be prepared according to the editorial templates available on this page and on the OJS platform.

The journal accepts only articles that comply with the editorial guidelines published here. Formal review precedes scientific review, as it assesses the care taken in drafting the text and formulates a preliminary judgment (failure to comply with the guidelines may result in rejection of the proposal). The articles are then subjected to anonymous review by two experts selected for their specific expertise, who are responsible for assessing the scientific quality of the contributions.

After acceptance of the essay in the native language, the final version must be submitted together with the corresponding English version, and a short biographical note for each author must be provided by completing the designated form.
