A researcher at the Polytechnic University of Milan, she earned a degree with honors in Architecture, a PhD in Architectural Heritage Conservation, and a Master’s degree in Advanced Techniques for Heritage Conservation. A fellow at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris-Belleville, Université de Paris VIII, and a qualified associate professor, she has been a professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Milan since 2001 and currently teaches Architectural Representation and Surveying at the School of Architecture and Construction Engineering (AUIC). Her research interests and publications focus primarily on the theory and history of drawing and surveying. Project manager of the Scuola Attiva Risorse project, winner of the 2017 Polisocial Award, she focuses on participatory practices for understanding and enhancing landscape and widespread cultural heritage.
