Full Professor of Drawing at the University of Trento, she conducts theoretical and applied research in the fields of architectural, urban, and environmental surveying, digital modelling, and graphic and multimedia communication. She directs LAMARC – Laboratory for Analysis and Modelling of Architecture, Representation, and Communication –, an integrated structure devoted to scientific experimentation, educational projects, and third-mission activities. She coordinates teaching in the area of Representation within the degree programmes in Building Engineering-Architecture and Civil Engineering.
Born in Pavia on June 28, 1963, she graduates in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1987. In 1993, at the same institution, she obtains a PhD in Conservation of Architectural Heritage, and in 1996 she becomes a researcher in Drawing in the Department of Conservation and History of Architecture, thus beginning her academic career under the guidance of Vittorio Ugo. In 2003, she moves to the University of Trento, where she serves as Associate Professor of Drawing from 2006 to 2025 in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Mechanical Engineering. Having qualified as a Full Professor in 2014, in 2016 she launches the publishing project “XYdigitale” together with Roberto de Rubertis.
