Born in Messina, on 1 August 1990. She graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of Siracusa (University of Catania) in 2016, after a period of study – ERASMUS PROGRAMME – at the UPM-ETSAM (Madrid). She continued her studies at the IUAV in Venice, where she obtained a Post-graduate Master degree II level, in 2018. She is undertaking the XXXIV° PhD course in Architecture and Territory at the dArTe Department of the “Mediterranea” University in Reggio Calabria, in 2018. She obtained her professional qualification in the same year. Doctor of research since 2022 (ICAR/17) Title of the thesis “Alphabet of spaces-between. Similarities and changes in spaces in-between. Palermo and Tunis”. She was a teaching tutor at the Politecnico di Milano (OC-Open City) and ISAR for the disciplines of representation (Relief of the village of Castelvecchio Calvisio); in 2023 tutor at the course of studies in Design class L-4, DDIRPAU 41/2023. Currently Research Fellow PRIN PNRR 2022 “BYZANTINE CULTURAL ROUTES between tangible and intangible Department of Architecture and Territory – DARTE – of the University “Mediterranean” of Reggio Calabria. She is a thesis co-supervisor in several degree theses that deal with the themes of architecture and the Mediterranean city. She participates in research, study seminars and national and international workshops. She is interested in the themes of Urban morphology, infra-spaces and historical cultural heritage tangible and intangible.
