Presentation of the first issue of the journal «XY» – Florence

During the XXXVIII International Conference of Professors of the Representation Disciplines – XIII Convention of the Italian Federation of Drawing, held in Florence September 15 to 17 2016, the first issue of the magazine «XY» was presented by Rossella Salerno, member of the scientific committee and full professor in Drawing at the Politecnico di Milano. Her speech is now published in the second issue of the review.

Cristina Pellegatta

Freelance architect, graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1989, she is a PhD candidate with a scholarship in History, Drawing, and Restoration of Architecture at Sapienza University of Rome (30th cycle). From 2001 to 2014, she was an adjunct lecturer in courses in the field of Drawing at the Polytechnic University of Milan, and from 2002 to 2014 at the University of Trento, where she carried out research on the geometric foundations of representation, surveying, and urban and landscape drawing.
