Architect, specialized at Milan Teatro alla Scala in Scenography, Ph.D. in Interior Architecture and Exhibition Design at Politecnico di Milano under the tutorship of Andrea Branzi, undertakes parallel research and teaching activities, alongside an intense professional activity as set designer, with wide international success (“Pierluigi Samaritani” Award, 2006; “Top 10 musical events” of the magazine “Musical America”, 2011) and pouring into the scientific field some reflections on the interior parameters of the staging and museum.
Some of these researches, with particular reference to music buildings, are published in the recent monograph Representamen. Interior architecture, music, society, published by Kalós.
Author of many writings on the themes of Interior Architecture, Furniture and Interior Design, his research focuses mainly on the parameters of domestic interiority, on the historical-hermeneutic in the definition of the house interior and the interaction between man, objects and images in the architectural space.
He is Associate Professor of Interior Architecture and Exhibition Design at Politecnico di Bari.
