Scientific Review

The drawing is part of a series dedicated to the future ruins of the most significant buildings in contemporary Rome. Although it is the ruin of a modern architecture, the scene is set in a landscape sensitively close to Piranesi’s Rome, even evoking its picturesque features, such as the Pinelli-esque chariot, a fragment of an ancient past or a distant future.
