Freelance architect, she graduated in Architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and holds a PhD in History, Representation and Restoration of Architecture at the Sapienza University of Rome. She has been a lecturer at Politecnico di Milano since 2001 and at the University of Trento since 2002. Until 2006 she carried out research at the Politecnico di Milano as scientific partner of the LAMM (Laboratory of Analysis and Morphological Models of Architecture, Professor Vittorio Ugo and since 2005, also as a post doctoral fellow, she has been a member of the LAMARC research group (Laboratory of Analysis and Modelling of Architecture, Representation and Communication, Professor Giovanna A. Massari) of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, University of Trento, as an expert in the geometric foundations of representation, architectural survey and urban and landscape drawing. The main fields of her research concern the methods of 3D digital modelling, the architectural and cartographic representation on a territorial scale, the visual and graphic sciences, and the use of open-source applications in the processing and management of images. Since 2015 she has been part of the editorial staff of the XYdigitale publishing project and since 2022 she has been its editor-in-chief.
