Architect and PhD in History of Architecture and the City, she currently works as a civil servant architetct at the Ministry of Culture, where she is responsible for the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage. Her research interests include the history and historiography of landscape, structuralism applied to historical research, art history, aesthetics, the use of images in communication, photography, and graphic design.
She graduated with honours in 2006 from the University of Naples Federico II, obtaining in the same institution her professional qualification in 2007 and her PhD in 2011 with a dissertation entitled The Idea of Landscape in Twentieth-Century Historiographical Interpretation in Italy. In 2020, she completed a Level II Master’s degree in Theories and Methods of Art History. From 2012 to 2024, she collaborated with the University of Trento, where she carried out research activities, teaching support, and seminars on the history of ancient and modern architecture. During the same period, alongside independent professional activity, she worked as a teacher of Drawing and Art History, obtaining a permanent position in 2021. She has taken part in specialised courses, workshops, and international conferences on landscape studies and cultural heritage, presenting contributions on the history and aesthetics of landscape, and has published essays in academic journals, monographs, and conference proceedings.
